My journey in HR has been complemented by my love for yoga, which has not only helped me navigate life’s challenges but has also deepened my commitment to fostering well-being and resilience in the workplace.

 

Joining Yogahood allows me to combine my professional expertise with my personal commitment to yoga, helping to create positive change in the lives of others.

With 25 years of experience in professional services, primarily within the recruitment industry, I have honed my skills in consulting, enterprise client management, strategic sales, and team leadership.

Currently, I run a small social enterprise focused on helping Australian employers hire more people with disabilities.

​

I am deeply inspired by Yogahood's social mission to make yoga and its numerous benefits accessible to disadvantaged, marginalized, and underrepresented community members. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to this important cause and help create a more inclusive environment for all.

Barb Campbell

Dedicated fitness enthusiast with over 30 years of yoga practice and six years of teaching Kids Yoga. Her diverse background includes athletics, basketball, aerobics, and meditation, reflecting her commitment to health and well-being.

​

For 26 years, Barbara worked as a Pre-school Mothercraft Nurse, where she developed strong skills in nurturing and educating young children. This experience enhances her ability to connect with her students meaningfully.

 

Now retired, she continues her commitment to community service by volunteering at Yogahood.

 

Joining Yogahood feels like a natural progression for Barbara, allowing her to positively impact others' lives through yoga and wellness.

I am a finance and marketing postgraduate student at the University of Sydney, with experience in consulting, client services, and market research. My background includes roles in financial planning, marketing strategy, and business consulting, where I have developed strong analytical, research, and communication skills.

At Yogahood, I serve as a Research Coordinator, analysing data to support strategic decision-making and enhance access to yoga for underserved communities. 

​

I believe in the importance of giving back, and volunteering has always been a valued principle in my family. Being part of Yogahood allows me to contribute to a cause that provides wellness resources to those in need. I am passionate about using my skills to help build a stronger, more inclusive community.
